Mission of |

5330 in Riverside and San Bernadino Counties, first became involved
with Rotaplast in the summer of 2003, when Allen and Patsy Orr of
the Temecula and Murrieta Rotary club represented District 5330 on
a trip to Antiqua, Guatemala. Under the chairmanship of John Roberts from the Murrieta Rotary Club, the District education process began in the summer of 2003. John visited 30 Rotary clubs in the District and gave a formal presentation about Rotaplast. During John’s presentation he asked for volunteers to develop a Committee for the purpose of creating our own District team to do our own Rotaplast mission to a foreign country. The first meeting of interested Rotarians was held on October 9th, 2003, in order to develop the Rotaplast Committee. Since that time we have successfully sent volunteers on one mission, Antiqua and most recently Peru. The committee meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm, at Millie's in Moreno Valley. Would you like to receive monthly reminders of our upcoming meetings?
